The Monetary Policy Committee (PPK) of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) will meet under the chairmanship of Central Bank Governor Fatih Karahan.
The interest rate decision will be announced at 2 p.m. At the MPC meeting last month, the key interest rate was cut to 47.5 percent.
Economists predict a cut of 250 basis points
All economists participating in the expectations survey assume that the key interest rate will be reduced by 250 basis points to 45 percent.
The median of economists' key interest rate expectations by the end of 2025 was 30 percent.
