Türkiye will be a high-tech center

According to the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the “HIT-30: High-Tech Investment Program Promotion Event” will be held on July 26 at Istanbul’s Atatürk Cultural Center.

The programme, which will be opened by Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, will be held in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The aim of the programme is to make the country a hub for high-tech investments while strengthening Turkey's advantages for new high-tech and value-added investments.

The HIT-30 program aims to accelerate technology investments that will lead Turkey into the future and initiate a process that will take the country's technology development and high value-added production capacity to higher levels.

Top managers of local and foreign companies, foreign investors and leading names in the business world will attend the launch event where new support measures and incentives will be announced.

Minister Kacır announced

Evaluating the investments in a television program he attended, Kacır said, “In the coming period, we will create a new investment incentive framework that will bring about green transformation, digital transformation, high added value and the transformation of local dynamics.” “We will announce this with a high-tech incentive program that will attract the attention of investors on a global level,” he said.

Minister Kacır stressed that they want to increase Turkey's production capacities especially in areas such as battery and sensor technologies and stated that all these developments would further accelerate the flow of global investments into Turkey.
