Türkiye “space economy” will sign the signature

While Torkiye takes historical steps as part of the national space program, this aims to increase the power of space economy by increasing the proportion of private sector on the other.

Traditionally accompanied by companies of the private sector in the space studies carried out by the states, the race in this market.

With the investments that initiated the process known as the “new room”, the number of investors in this area has increased. In the early 2000s, the number of countries invested in space was around 30 years, and until the 2020s it exceeded 80. The space expenditure rose by 20 percent in the period 2015-2020.

Growth trend is expected on the space market

Last year, the global space economy was calculated with $ 596 billion. The “space market” was determined as a market segment at the center of space activities, in which actors of the state and private sector are included directly with a volume of $ 224 billion.

“Ready -to -use -use” was the segment that covered the service and application using Space -based infrastructure with a volume of $ 308 billion.

The size of the space economy is expected to achieve about 1 trillion US dollar in 2033 and this is triggered to a large extent by solutions with satellite data.

The average annual growth in the next period is estimated in space economy. This ratio is far above the growth rate of global gross domestic product (5 percent annually).

Last year, the largest proportion of various activity areas on the satellite market received satellite communication (Satcom). Team satellites also formed most of the market, in particular due to their large number and short lifespan in the field of Satcom and location observation.

Türkiye will take strategic steps

In this process, Torkiye has intensified his activities with the aim of being one of the main actors at the responsible institutions and organizations as well as the companies in the private sector.

As part of the national space program, Türkiye, which carries out the first human space trip, continues his projects as part of the moon program. In this process, the so -called “critical technologies” in particular focus on the production of devices and devices. Raket and satellite engines that are to be developed in this process, critical components, state systems, navigation technologies such as technologies such as Türkiye's global space -ecosystem should become a strong player.

At the same time, Torkiye's goal of establishing the regional positioning and time system will offer the country a great economic opportunity. It is planned to reduce foreign dependency by offering the regional service the system in question, and the country is planned to have an important place on the global market.

On the other hand, many countries and companies are in accordance with the aim of Torkiye to establish their own space port with the growth of the satellite market, to achieve economic profit by reacting to the demand for costly starting services.

In addition, as a result of investments and studies on spatial support systems, Deep Space Studies and Economy, which are regarded as the design of the future, are prioritized.

Every goal of the national space program aims to accelerate the integration of Türkiye into space economy and to make the country not only a consumer, but also a technology manufacturer of this area.

A new generation of materials is produced

One of the critical technologies that aim to develop the Türkiye as part of space research will be advanced impression system technologies.

In addition, “Software Defined Radio (SDR) technologies for the development of integrated and adaptable satellite management systems are manufactured.

“Optical communication” for high speed and secure communication, adaptive coverage “,” phase arranged antenna “, with high energy density” power storage “technologies for the development of adaptable coverage communication satellites.

In addition, technologies that increase the skills and efficiency of space tasks such as robotics, automation and artificial intelligence are produced by material science applications and additional production technologies, which will lead to the development of advanced production materials to build permanent and light space.
