According to the information created by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and Technology from the “Industry and Technology Strategy 2030”, the number of devices and systems associated with the automation of industrial production increases the risk of cyber threats.
In this context, the spread of cyber security practices in the industrial sector is important in order to protect the industrial automation systems from possible attacks and to secure sensitive data. Cyber security solutions are expected to be developed with domestic technologies that increase the safety of the digital infrastructure of Türkiye and make it a strong player in the digital transformation process.
Will take over critical functions in many areas
The regional positioning and timing system is commissioned with the vision of Türkiye's strategic infrastructures in order to reduce external dependency and to strengthen its existence in space. This system offers the sensitive location, navigation and timing data from Türkiye via its own satellites as an alternative to global systems such as GPS.
In many areas, the system will take on critical functions, from the security of military operations to the uninterrupted of networks of official competence, from intelligent transport systems to sensitive agricultural practices.
In this regard, a study of the feasibility, the development of nuclear cycles, the increase in durability of existing systems, the satellite base -improvement system studies and ultimately regional satellite positioning system are expected to take steps.
In addition, the room qualification tests of the prototype of the Rubidium atom clock, which are generated in cooperation with the Tubitak National Metrology Institute and the Türkiye Space Agency. The Cube satellite design has been completed and the production and supply of subsystems were achieved. These studies are important for the development of domestic and national atomic clocks that are used in future satellites and contribute more to the initiatives of the private sector.
Domestic map and navigation application are being developed
On the other hand, it is important for the development of digital platforms such as the national navigation system, the search engine and social media, the strengthening of technological independence, the reduction of external dependency, strengthening national data security and the country's award by these platforms. With the implementation of these platforms by domestic entrepreneurs, it is planned to reduce the dependence on foreign areas.
In this context, a local map and a navigation application are developed in the international medium that meet the needs in the Türkiye -specific transport, in urban planning and in the cultural area and also contribute to the digital transformation process.
According to the priorities of the establishment of digital independence and security, the protection of local users, the establishment of an equal competition and the guarantee of the infrastructure, a new voice model and the new generation of artificial intelligence are to be developed in accordance with their priorities.
