“Turkish Festival” began in Chicago, USA

The festival, which takes place in Donald E. Stephen's exhibition center in Rosemont, Chicago, takes place for the second time this year.

The event, which is the most comprehensive Turkish festival in North America, will take three days.

The opening of the festival was opened with the Mehter team of the Ministry of Cultural and Tourism Istanbul Historical Turkish Music Group. With more than 200 stocks in the festival area, it will have the opportunity to know the wealth of Turkish culture from handicrafts, which reflect visitors and local flavors.

The artists from Türkiye present traditional Turkish art such as marble, lighting, ceramics and calligraphy with their workshops and exhibitions. During the festival, various sessions and interviews will take place in the USA in which Turkish society and Turkey are discussed.

Halil Demir, one of the founders of the festival, said in an explanation at the opening: “It is a good thing to bring together so many people and to be the representative of my own nation here to present what they produce and what they do here.” he said.

The festival said: “To educate a child with love,” he said that they are satisfied with the participation and importance of the activity for the second festival this year.
