At the 13th World Sector Cooperation (WCI) Forum, Bolat spoke that the Turkish contract sector did 18 percent of the $ 544 billion construction projects in the world in Africa.
Bolat said that Turkish contractors have so far completed 2,000 construction projects on the African continent, and explained that they are $ 97.5 billion.
Bolat emphasized that Turkish investors carry out very important projects and work in African countries, said Bolat:
“So far, tens of thousands of Africans have been employed in our investments by Türkiye to African countries.

We have included many African countries in the list of target countries for the development of trade. In this context, when we implement strategy to develop our relationships with Islamic countries, there are also about 26 African countries in this context. As Türkiye, we exchange the main articles such as machine products, electrical electronic products, plastic, chemicals, automobiles, agricultural products as well as iron and steel products as well as plastic products in our trade in Africa. Turkish products have now become a symbol of quality, brand and call of technology in Africa, Turkish service sector products, and we are very happy to see Turkish investors, while in Turkish entrepreneurs in almost every country in Africa as in all countries in the world in Turkish entrepreneurs. “
Ömer Bolat explained that mutual trade rises quickly while attempts and investments increase.
Bolat said that they organized participation in 65 international trade fair organizations in Africa in 2023-2024 as Ministry of Commerce and announced that they organized 33 international fair organizations in Africa this year.
Bolat said that they will organize 6 general trade delegations by the end of the year, said Bolat: “As a ministry, we have visited many African countries in our international relationships. Participation programs from African countries to Türkiye,” he said.

So far, more than 50 African ministers have negotiated and signed agreements that point out that Bolat also said 79 shopping committees in Turkey in Turkey in the past two years.
