TPAO will explore for oil and gas in Libya

Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dibeybe, Oil and Gas Minister Khalifa Abdussadik, President of the Libyan National Petroleum Company Massoud Suleiman and many representatives of international energy companies attended the ceremony where the tender results were announced.

The tender committee affiliated with the Libyan National Petroleum Corporation announced that TPAO, together with its partner, Spain's Repsol, won the C3 onshore field.

The delegation announced that TPAO won the O7 Seefeld in collaboration with Repsol and Hungary-based MOL.

Last year, the Libyan Ministry of Oil and Gas announced for the first time in 17 years that it had launched a tender for the exploration and production of oil and natural gas in 22 blocks, 11 onshore and 11 offshore.
