The wind of technology at the zero point of history: TEKNOFEST 2026

Organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, TEKNOFEST will move to Şanlıurfa in 2026, which is called the “zero point of history” and is characterized by its deep-rooted civilizational heritage.

The festival, which will take place at GAP Airport from September 30 to October 4, will bring together millions of technology enthusiasts.

175 million lira support for young people

TEKNOFEST 2026, organized under the theme “Producers of the Future”, is offering record support this year to encourage young minds to make new discoveries. While a total of 75 million lira will be distributed to the winners of the competitions, financial support of over 100 million lira will be provided for the implementation of the projects. Technology enthusiasts who want to turn their ideas into projects can submit their applications until February 20th.

Huge competition in 52 different categories

TEKNOFEST, which expands its scope every year, this year has 52 main competitions and 127 subcategories. In addition to the traditional competitions “Rocket”, “Agricultural Technologies”, “Unmanned Aerial Vehicles” and “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare”, new application categories are attracting attention for the first time this year. In this context; The Electronic Warfare Competition, the Design and Operation of Advanced Autonomous Systems Competition, the TEKNOFEST Mining Technologies Competition, the FPV Drone Tracking Competition and the Technologies for the Benefit of Humanity Competition will meet with competitors for the first time. In addition, the “Çelikkubbe Air Defense Systems Competition”, which reflects Türkiye's power in the defense industry, is among the categories expected to attract the most attention.

More than 4 million applications in 8 years

TEKNOFEST, which has been held since 2018 with the vision of National Technology Move, has broken a global record by receiving a total of more than 4 million applications. The festival, which is open to the participation of young people of all educational levels, from elementary to graduate levels, aims to introduce the world to technology production from the heart of Anatolia with its new edition in Şanlıurfa.

Minister Kacır: We will stand by our youth

Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır drew attention to the support they will provide in the TEKNOFEST 2026 technology competitions in his post on his social media account.

Recalling that the applications for the TEKNOFEST 2026 startup factory technology competitions in Türkiye have begun, Kacır said: “This year, we will support our youth with material support of over 100 million lira and awards of over 75 million lira.” gave his assessment.
