On the 2nd day of the Teknofest -Drone Championship in the New -Event Park, the New Event Park in the capital city of Nicosia, 24 athletes will take part in the Mediterranean stage.
In the championship, the athlete of the Anadolu Agency Sports Club Emrullah Yilmaz competed under 32 pilots and won the competition in the Mediterranean stage, the next part of the Teknofest drone championship.
The first 16 athletes who enter the Mediterranean stage will take part in Teknofest races that are to take place in Istanbul in September.
Medals and awards were awarded to the athletes who were classified in the auditions.
In his speech at the medal ceremony, Tatar expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the largest flight, spatial and technology festival in the world was built in the country: “It is important and valuable to make Teknofest in an independent Turkish state in the Eastern Mediterranean,” he said.
Tatar pointed out that the Turkish defense industry signed even more important works every day and said: “I would like to thank everyone who organized the festival in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
