The Quantum Hackathon competition is organized within the framework of TEKNOFEST

According to the TEKNOFEST statement, the event organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST Technology Competitions will be held under the leadership of Bilişim Vadisi, ComPro and TÜBİTAK.

The aim of the Quantum Hackathon competition, which was opened for applications for the first time this year as part of TEKNOFEST, is to raise awareness among young people about the field of quantum computing and to increase their interest in this field.

Quantum computing offers innovations in the healthcare industry. In this context, the integration of quantum technologies in healthcare holds great potential, especially in solving complex problems such as organ transplantation and optimizing donor-recipient matching. With quantum computing, it is possible to make these processes more efficient and effective.

The TEKNOFEST Quantum Hackathon competition aims to showcase practical applications of quantum computing technologies and raise awareness of this field by bringing together young engineering candidates. The goal of the competition is for participants to develop innovative solutions for lung donor matching using quantum computing techniques.

150,000 lira prize money for the winner

The competition, which is open to university students (including bachelor's, master's, doctoral and open education students) and graduates studying both in Turkey and abroad, has a first prize of 150,000 lira, a second prize of 120,000 lira and a third prize of 100,000 lira. This broad participant profile provides an opportunity to showcase and raise awareness of practical applications of quantum computing technologies.

The competition enables young people to acquire knowledge in the field of quantum computing, to improve themselves through the practical implementation of this knowledge and to network with each other.

The TEKNOFEST Quantum Hackhathon competition aims to develop innovative solutions to problems in the healthcare sector using quantum computing. Successful projects in the competition will be judged as creative and practical solutions that help make healthcare services more efficient.

Applications for the competition can be submitted until June 30th.
