Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced that ITU Vefa Team took first place in the 10,000-foot category at the Spaceport America Cup rocket competition in the United States (USA), in which 83 teams participated.
Kacır congratulated the ITU-Vefa team, which outperformed schools such as Princeton, Stanford and George Washington University.
