The 4th launch of Türksat 6A will take place on Tuesday

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu reported on his social media account about the launch process of Turkey's first domestic and national satellite, Türksat 6A.

Uraloğlu stated that Türksat 6A's firing phases continued to be carried out successfully: “Today we successfully completed the third firing, which lasted seven minutes. TÜRKSAT 6A continues its historic journey and progress towards its orbit.”

The fourth of the five planned layoffs will take place on July 16.

Minister Kacır also provided information about the fourth shooting in his statement on his social media account.

Recalling that the third launch to bring the national communications satellite Türksat 6A closer to its mission orbit took place this morning, Kacır said:

“With this launch, we reduced the orbital inclination from 0.6 degrees that we had achieved after the second launch to 0.05 degrees and increased the circumferential altitude from 32.32 km to 35,791 km. Our orbit is now more circular. This orbit transfer maneuver took about 7 minutes. “58.6 kilograms of chemical fuel were used for the ignition. The fourth of the five planned ignitions will take place two days later, on July 16.”
