The statement highlighted that Trump stated that “the US stands ready to provide the necessary support for Syria's reconstruction and development process” and that a working meeting had taken place between the Syrian and US foreign ministers and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

The statement, which said that the working meeting lasted about an hour, emphasized that an agreement was reached on establishing clear mechanisms to continue the implementation of the “March 10 Agreement” signed between Shara and terrorist Mazlum Abdi Şahin, codenamed “Mazlum Kobani”.

In this context, the statement said: “As part of the integration of the institutions (SDF and the Damascus government) and strengthening national security, steps are being taken to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces into the Syrian Arab Army.” Statements were recorded.

In addition, the statement said that the US side “supports the conclusion of a security agreement with Israel to strengthen regional stability.”

It was emphasized that President Trump supported development and investment initiatives in Syria in the economic field and also assured that the US would make progress in lifting sanctions imposed under the Caesar Act.
