According to information from Tubitak, the National Technology Clubs Association will create a common roof for student clubs that work at universities around Türkiye. The applications of the call open in this context end on October 3.
In view of the platform to encourage the university students and at the same time developing the qualified HR department of Türkiye, the development of student clubs that work in the areas of technology and technology entrepreneurs is supported and increased competitive forces at national and international level.
The capacities of the clubs are expanded with the support mechanisms that are suitable for the needs of each club. The program will create an integrative and sustainable ecosystem to increase the future technology leaders and experts from Türkiye in various disciplines.
In this process, which sailed into the Turkish century with the vision of the development of the dynamics of young people, the goal of “completely independent torkiye” is intended to achieve with young people.
Scope of the call
With his call, student clubs that work in the field of technology and technology entrepreneurs are intended to support and create a sustainable network of cooperation between student clubs to ensure that the students develop scientific thinking, produce innovative projects and contribute entrepreneurship skills and speak to the meeting with professional mentors and experts.
It is one of the goals to encourage clubs to work together, to carry out joint projects, to exchange information and to develop information and to develop capacities and to contribute to the “National Technology Move” of Türkiye with support and project support.
Two levels are submitted as part of the call. The first stage will include a member application on the platform of the National Technology Clubs Association, the support applications of the second stage Club Development.
Advantages of Club membership
Applications for membership in the National Technology Clubs Association are examined by Tubitak in accordance with the evaluations of external consultants.
Membership in the platform offers the opportunity to take part in the activities carried out by Tubitak. In this context, member clubs can play a role in the provisions of relevant legislation in organizations and studies that have been carried out in the field of technology and science.
With its institutions for the expansion and cooperation of the network, member clubs have the opportunity to develop and cooperate joint projects by combining them with technology and entrepreneurship clubs at other universities.
Members clubs that conduct F&E projects as part of the cooperation with organized industrial zones have the opportunity to gain sectoral experiences, to receive technical support and to develop joint projects.
With “Peer and Master Training” it can organize activities by passing on training and information. In addition, sector experts, academics or entrepreneurs can organize seminars, workshops and training programs for all clubs on the platform in the context of a club. In this way, clubs have the opportunity to interact directly with experts and increase their skills in the field of technology.
Member clubs of the platform also reach advantages, e.g.
20 thematic fields were determined
From artificial intelligence to cyber security, robotics and automation to finance, from chip to deep sea and ocean, from the transport systems of the future to space and discovery technologies, student clubs that work in 20 thematic technologies can apply.
At the clubs to be requested, at least 10 active members must be approved by the responsible university.
The platform membership applications of clubs are online via http://biliztoplum-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr. It is important to upload all documents for the application to the system.
The application for membership is made by the club president or the club representative, but the application of clubs without academic consultants is not accepted. Applicants should have a registration of the researcher information system (Arbis) (http://arbis.tubitak.gov.tr).
The application results are announced on the Tübsytak website.
Club development support
Being a member of the platform is not enough to receive support.
The support includes organizations such as technology peaks, hackathons, competitions, seminars, participation of mentors or speakers in the areas, laboratory materials, technical devices, software or hardware requirements for F&E activities.
Support applications are received online to the data announced on the Traffeals website at regular intervals.
Support of up to 150 thousand lira
Every club can only receive support during the call time. Support amounts vary depending on the event organizations, speakers mentor- and F&E project requirements.
Club within the riflescope can apply for one or more titles. However, the recommended total support amount will not overcome £ 150,000. The proposed amount is rated by Tüb balance and the final support budget is determined.
The support period is up to 12 months and this period is determined in the obligation.
