The Ministry of Industry and Technology and Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) under the direction of TRT, a communication partner in the world, the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival, continues on the third day.
For the “joint venture contract” between Asfat Aş, one of the stakeholders of the festival and the Magnaghi Aviation based in Italian Magnaghi Aviation, a signing ceremony took place.
ASFAT General Manager Dr. Mustafa İlbaş and Paolo Graziano, the chairman and general manager of the Italian company, signed the contract.
The National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, Deputy Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Defense Board of Directors, chief of staff Selcuk Bayraktaroglu, President of the Defense Industry, Haluk Görgün, and Baykar General Haluk Bayraktar.
The ceremony ended with a photo shoot.
First activity attack helicopter
As part of the agreement, ASFAT and Magnaghi gel initiative aim to set up a “maintenance, repair and renovation center” in Türkiye.
The center will initially carry out maintenance/repair activities of the state team system of military platforms in the inventory of the Turkish armed forces. In this context, the first activity is planned to be AtAK helicopters.
In the project listed by Asfat, all military and civilian platforms are intended to export internationally and become an important center in the field of aviation maintenance.
As a company in the aviation sector, Magnaghi is specializing in design, qualification, production and maintenance of landing teams.
The company also focuses on the development of relevant subsystems (devices and components) such as hydraulic and electromechanical devices for aircraft shapes for the aviation industry.
