Second attack on Türksat 6A on July 12

Minister of Industry and Technology Kacır shared a post about Türksat 6A on his social media account.

Kacır congratulated his colleagues at TÜBİTAK and stated that the national communications satellite Türksat 6A was a first in Turkish space history.

Kacır stated:

“Our teams successfully completed the first thrust shot and performed the orbit raising maneuver. The shot lasted 82 minutes. With this shot, the first of five steps was performed that will place the satellite into its final orbit. The next shot will take place 2 days later, on July 12, after the results of the first shot have been evaluated.
