Refraining from La Wine Bar AOC to close: “The permanent feels unsustainable”

A popular and groundbreaking wine bar by two of the most famous restaurateurs in La is to be closed this summer. On Saturday, Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne of the Lucques Group announced the location of Brentwood on August 1st, which ended their 16 -year run of 16 in the room.

Like many other restaurateurs recently, Goin and Styne have cited a number of factories in Brentwood, including persistent financial compensation by the 2025 fires, the strike of the entertainment industry 2024, the pandemic and the high rent.

“At this point in time, the confluence of the circumstances continued to feel unsustainable,” said Goin and Styne of Times in an e -mail. “We are Heartbrken that Brentwood Era Hasu Hasu Hitu Hitu has come to the 16 years of employees, customers, farmers, sellers, winegrowers and others who fueled us.

AOC in West Hollywood remains open. The praised California-Cuisine restaurant and the Wine Bar have contributed to increasing elegant but casual, produced small plates for its foundation in 2002. Goin and Styne operated Tavern, another of their restaurants, in the Brentwood area until 2021 and opened a new location of the AOC in the same year.

“If the two AOCs have little in common, they are philosophically identical twins” Wrote in a review 2021. “The menu doubles the municipal, small ethos, which in Los Angeles led the charges for the codification of Codify. The bounty is California; Mediterranean sea.”

AOC is open in Brentwood Monday and Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 11.30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 11:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. to 9 p.m.
