After London, Minister Mehmet Şimşek completed his contacts in New York and returned to Türkiye.
As part of Şimşek's New York program, 15 meetings were held on Thursday and Friday. Minister Şimşek met with more than 300 investors from the world's leading global investment institutions, whose total assets have reached approximately $30 trillion.
He met with more than 800 people
At the meetings in New York, investors were provided with a comprehensive update on the latest developments in the macroeconomic stabilization and reform program, the disinflation process and medium-term expectations. There were also extensive question-and-answer sessions with investors.
Şimşek met with more than 800 names of the world's leading corporate investment institutions, which manage around $88 trillion in assets through programs in London and New York.
These contacts showed that investors' interest in the Turkish economy was strong and continuing to increase.
