As part of the TEKNOFEST 2025 technology competitions, this competition, which will break new ground in the field of oncology, awaits participants who want to develop effective and innovative solutions to oncological problems using the possibilities of modern technologies such as genetic engineering, biotechnology and artificial intelligence.
In the competition, whose treatment goal this year was “lung cancer”, the candidates were: Genetic and epigenetic approaches: Epigenetic regulatory approaches using CRISPR and similar gene editing technologies, Cellular and molecular therapies: Advanced molecular therapies such as immunotherapy, smart drugs, tumor-specific antibodies, CAR T-cell therapies and transgenic natural killer (NK) cells, Artificial intelligence-assisted drug development solutions: Discovery personalized and cancer-specific targets with applications of artificial intelligence, biomarker-based drug development processes, and therapeutic cancer vaccine technologies: Expected will include studies in the areas of RNA and DNA-based treatment methods and new generation cancer vaccine technologies.

The “3T Competition in Oncology” brings scientists and students together to design the treatment technologies of the future today.
Bachelor's, master's and doctoral students studying in Turkey and abroad can participate as team members in the competition, which aims to make a difference with creative solutions and innovative ideas, especially in an important area such as lung cancer. Doctoral graduates can only participate in projects as team consultants. The winners will receive a total prize money of 600,000 TL.
