According to a Türksat explanation, Atalay took part in the 9th National Management Information Systems (YBS), which was organized jointly by the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at Ankara Medipol University and the Institute for Government Information Systems.
Atalay, in his speech here and on the great progress of the technology in the past 40 years “we could not even imagine 40 years ago. Today it has become impossible that lasted 40 years later. Now we have the power of the processor and the power of global data that has been generated every 1.5 years.
Atalay emphasizes that the data is more valuable than gold and oil, and it is expected that artificial intelligence around 2050 will approach the process capacity of human intelligence.
Atalay pointed out that Turkish engineers have skills worldwide: “We have the best engineers in the world. The only need is discipline. They can be much more successful by working harder.” gave his message.
Internet project for aircraft
Atalay also gave information about the ongoing projects of the institution and recalled that the Turksat 6a satellite with domestic and national institutions was recently put into operation and that Türkiye has become one of the few countries that can produce their own communication satellites.
Atalay also used the following statements about in -flight internet projects:
“With the collaboration of Turkish Airlines in cooperation, the efforts continue to offer uninterrupted and high Internet service for aircraft. Passengers can continue their connections to the world in heaven with the Internet service in air that we offer through satellites.
“We will export the e-government gate infrastructure”
Atalay pointed out that TorkSat not only produces digital infrastructures for Türkiye, but also for friendly and sister countries and said:
“The e-government goal has become a product. We will not sell this infrastructure to the country that gives every money, we will only export it to friendly and sister countries. This vision will have two important consequences, which gives the e-government system a reason and transferred our experiences to the countries that need it.
