While the corpses of two of the four people were found, of whom you did not hear anything after the incident and which were probably in the building, the search for the other two people will continue.
The mayor of Madrid, Jose Luis Martinez Almeida, announced in his explanation that the corpses of two of the three male workers and one manager were found in the collapsed building.
Almeida said that the searches carried out by firefighters with the help of dogs were carried out with great care in order not to cause a new collapse.
Officials from the Madrid Local Administration announced that ten workers were injured in the incident, one of them seriously.
The news of the Spanish press claims that the building would be restored to convert it into a hotel and that the collapse was “caused by the negligence of the workers”, according to the initial assessment of experts.
