According to the Presidential Digital Transformation Office, the FİDE Entrepreneurship and Sectoral Development Project, launched to strengthen Turkey's cybersecurity potential, is looking for entrepreneurs.
The project, implemented by the Digital Transformation Office and the Presidency of the Defense Industry, offers the benefits that the startup may need to meet and support the requirements in areas such as investment support in product development, IT infrastructure, technical advice, budget and international marketing, office, PoC (Proof of Concept), meeting with the customer proposals.
Opportunity to benefit from the advantages of ranked projects
Idea competitions are held within the scope of the FİDE project, which was launched to strengthen the cybersecurity ecosystem and support innovative solutions. The top three projects in each focus area will have the opportunity to benefit from the advantages of the competitions held, based on the evaluations of the jury and mentoring panel consisting of industry experts, representatives of leading companies and academics.
Mentor and financial support
One of the strongest aspects of the FİDE project is the mentoring committee that supports the entrepreneurs in preparing the technical advice and product roadmaps required for the projects.
In addition, support in accessing finance and the large pool of investors provide opportunities for entrepreneurs. The project team evaluates projects from an “internal customer perspective” and accompanies entrepreneurs in their commercialization processes. Projects that have reached a sufficient level of maturity are given priority in the projects of the Presidency of the Defense Industry.
In line with global market analysis and the country’s needs, cloud computing security, digital currency security, digital supply chain security, air systems and space security, autonomous vehicle security, artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, IoT security and EKS Scada security have been considered as priority focus areas.
Applications can be submitted until June 15th.
The first applications in the areas of cloud computing, IoT and EKS Scada security can be submitted on the website “https://fideprojesi.com.tr” until June 15th.

Although the FİDE project primarily focuses on certain priority areas, it is open to all cybersecurity projects.
