The competition that aims to raise awareness of ecological, social and scientific questions also aims to train young scientists and engineers through the development of critical thinking, cooperation and communication skills. The international child science competition offers young people a great opportunity to develop scientific thinking skills and to find ahead in the areas of MINT. The competition is also a promising step for the future of science and aims to contribute to the training of scientists and engineers of the new generation who want to contribute to scientific and technological developments. The applications of the competition, which invited elementary school students to take part in this great scientific journey, last until March 1.
Investment in the future: The scientific potential of young people is supported
The competition is organized in three main categories as nature, environment and sustainability, astronomy and space and healthy life. In these categories, the students compete with various projects and determine for each category. 60,000 TL for first place, 50,000 teaspoons for second place, 40,000 TL for third place are received. The participants have the opportunity to carry out this prestigious competition, which is supported by Tubitak, in studies on the scientific value of their projects.
The evaluation phases of the competition are shaped by the project presentations and the prototype development of the participants. The phases of the evaluation process are planned as a project of preliminary evaluation report, project presentation (semi -final) / video as well as prototypes and final presentation. These phases will show the steps of the students in the project development process and enable them to create their scientific success. All elementary school students who study in Türkiye and abroad can take part in the competition. In addition, the participants can apply for a maximum of 6 people.
