Accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's official visit to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, to attend the 11th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Organization of Turkish States, First Lady Erdoğan, the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency He attended the opening ceremony of the Science Bishkek Innovation Center, which was held in Bishkek in collaboration with the Presidency (TIKA).
At the ceremony where the Kyrgyz folk dance show was presented, First Lady Erdoğan cut the opening ribbon of the science center established after Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in Bishkek with “congratulations” wishes.
Later, First Lady Erdoğan visited the robotic coding, mathematics, design, aviation and astronomy workshops at the Science Center, observed the work of the students studying there and chatted individually.
At the end of the program, First Lady Erdoğan was presented with a gift and a family photo was taken.
TİKA President Serkan Kayalar and Vice President Ümit Naci attended the ceremony.
Yorulmaz, T3 Foundation General Manager Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır and other relevant people were present.
“The center is an important step towards training future scientists”
In her post on her social media account, First Lady Erdoğan wished that the Bilim Bishkek Innovation Center, which was implemented in collaboration with TIKA and T3 Foundation, would be beneficial to both countries.
First Lady Erdoğan said:
“I see this center as an important step towards training future scientists, engineers and young people who dream and turn their dreams into reality. We shared the joy of discovery of Kyrgyz students trained in robotics programming, mathematics, design, aviation and astronomy. We exchanged practical experiences in five different workshops.” “I hope that the number of innovation centers where training is offered will increase, and would like to thank those who contributed.”
