The General Directorate of Security, Combating Cybercrime Department (Siberay), warned citizens about the increase in phishing content on digital platforms due to the upcoming Eid al-Adha.
Siberay pointed out that one should not click on fake links shared on social media, email or SMS with phrases such as “victim donation, special loan for the holiday,” stressing that donations or payments should not be made through fake websites.
In addition, Siberay pointed out that personal and financial information should not be shared with unverified parties.
