According to the company statement, TÜRKSAT has increased its power in satellite and broadcast technologies with an “end-to-end service model” for media organizations seeking high accessibility and broadcast continuity.
With the “Hot Uplink” redundancy system, which ensures broadcast continuity, the technological infrastructure that only large broadcasters at home and abroad can build with high investment costs has become affordable for all broadcasters.
In this system, in which the signals of broadcast stations are constantly processed in the TÜRKSAT infrastructure and kept ready for broadcasting, the risk of broadcast interruption is eliminated thanks to the automatic switching function, which occurs within seconds in emergency situations.
In addition to standard backup methods, the company also offers “FKM Hosting” and “Geographical Redundancy” services.
In this model, the entire technical infrastructure of the broadcasters is located in independent buildings, spatially separated from the main system on the TÜRKSAT Teleport campus.
“Headend, RF and control systems” specifically assigned to institutions are protected by industrial air conditioning and high-level physical security layers, supported by uninterruptible power supply and generator. Thanks to secure remote access protocols, in the event of a disaster or risk, all broadcast operations can be transferred to a geographically separated backup center “with a single command”.
TÜRKSAT offers an active and manageable hosting service and aims to increase operational efficiency and minimize technical risks with this infrastructure.
