According to TÜBİTAK, SİBERLAB was developed by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Cyber Security Institute within the framework of the Cyber Security Training and Research Center project supported by the Presidency of Strategy and Budget.
The laboratory has been in use since 2023. In addition to the ability to work online, SİBERLAB is a “cyber-range” product that works on the cloud infrastructure provided by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM.
SİBERLAB provides an online lab environment that allows users to design and access customized labs for cybersecurity training or competitions.
The simulated environments include virtual machines and network devices. It allows users to practice real-world cybersecurity scenarios. This allows users to receive cybersecurity training, conduct cybersecurity testing, and conduct various cybersecurity research.
In addition, SİBERLAB also allows organizing practical and educational competitions in the field of cybersecurity. These competitions are held as part of events called Capture the Flag (CTF).
Training courses are carried out in a practical manner via SIBERLAB.
TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Cyber Security Institute offers practical training through SİBERLAB. The laboratory can also be used in university training and various CTF competitions. The product is intended to be used primarily in vocational schools, universities and public institutions of strategic importance.
SİBERLAB's Internet-based operation allows users to work with virtual machines only through an Internet browser, without the need for additional hardware or resources.
Quick and easy access allows users to quickly create and access virtual environments that meet their needs. With its virtual laboratory infrastructure, training, practice and analysis processes can be carried out cost-effectively and without the use of physical devices.
SİBERLAB is used in cybersecurity training, exercises, and testing and analysis studies.
The laboratory provides a modern and accessible training and training environment suitable for the development of cybersecurity technologies. Thanks to this infrastructure, users will be able to raise their knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity to a higher level.
The aim of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Cyber Security Institute is to make the SİBERLAB product a globally competitive cyber training product by adding additional functions and to constantly improve the predefined applied cyber security training included in it.
