The festival, which is taking place for the ninth time this year, will feature competitions in 51 main categories and 132 subcategories.
At TEKNOFEST, which enables young people to realize their dreams, financial support of more than 100 million lira will be provided to the teams that pass the pre-selection phase. The teams that participate in the festival and are successful will receive a total prize of more than 75 million lira.
As part of TEKNOFEST 2026, 51 different technology competitions will be held, including rocket, model satellite, autonomous robotaxi passenger vehicle, combat drones, chip design, TEKNOFEST professional talent competition, blockchain, air defense systems, financial technologies and unmanned marine vehicles, which are attracting great interest among young people.
4 new competitions can apply
This year, 4 new competitions were opened for applications for the first time. The TEKNOFEST Mining Technologies Competition, the Electronic Warfare Competition, the Advanced Autonomous Systems Design and Operation Competition and the FPV Drone Tracking Competition took their place in the 2026 program.
The competitions, which appeal to a wide range of participants from primary to postgraduate levels and graduates, have been designed around key technology areas of the future.
