According to TEKNOFEST's statement, TEKNOFEST, which is organized under the main leadership of T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the support of Turkey's leading technology companies, public, media organizations and universities, will be held in Şanlıurfa from September 30 to October 4 this year.
TEKNOFEST 2026, held at GAP Şanlıurfa Airport, invites young minds to new discoveries with 75 million lira in prize money and more than 100 million lira in material support.
The festival, which features new competition categories every year, will once again host the world's largest award-winning technology competitions. Applications for the TEKNOFEST technology competitions, which this year will be held in 52 main and 127 subcategories, are open until February 20th.
Young people of all educational levels can apply, from primary school to postgraduate studies.
TEKNOFEST 2026 will host technology competitions in many fields, including Missile Competition, Agricultural Technologies Competition, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Competitions, ÇELİKKUBBE Air Defense Systems Competition, Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Competition and Secure Satellite Communications Competition.
In contrast to previous years, applications are open for the first time this year for the Electronic Warfare Competition, the Advanced Autonomous Systems Design and Operation Competition, the TEKNOFEST Mining Technologies Competition and the FPV Drone Tracking Competition, offering technology enthusiasts new opportunities for experience.
More than 4 million participants have applied for the TEKNOFEST technology competitions, which have been taking place since 2018. At TEKNOFEST 2026, thousands of young people of all educational levels, from elementary to postgraduate, will have the opportunity to apply for technology competitions in various categories to turn their dreams into projects.
Applications for participation in the TEKNOFEST technology competitions can be submitted until February 20th at “www.teknofest.org”.
