The Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır has successfully completed the F-16 Electronic Support Podu (EDPOD) flight tests against real radar systems.
Kacır emphasized that F-16 EDPOD, which was developed in the main contractor of Tüboney Bilişim and Information Security Advanced Technologies Research Center (Boltgem), entered the inventory of the Air Force Command and made the following evaluation:
“With the aim of reducing the dependency of our country on defense technologies, EDPOD has made a strategic contribution to our electronic war skills. Radar signal sensor Tactical Electronic Support POD, integrated into the F-16 aircraft, Edpod. Was developed with domestic and national institutions.
Kacır congratulated those who contributed to the Ministry of National Defense and the Presidency of the Defense Industry that opened the way for the development of national systems.

On the other hand, EDPOD, which was developed in accordance with the aim of reducing the dependence on Türkiye from defense technologies to defense technologies, is also known as a system that changes games in electronic warfare.
