Defense Industry President Görgün shared the industry's January 2026 export data in his statement on his social media account.
Görgün stated that an increase of 44.2 percent was achieved in January compared to the same period last year and an export value of 555.3 million dollars was achieved.

Görgün emphasized that this achievement shows the sustainable growth capacity of the sector;

Our defense and aerospace industries continue to make a strategic contribution to Türkiye's overall export performance. This success; It is the result of planned, stable and visionary policies under the National Technology Move and National Competence Move, which are implemented in line with the leadership and vision of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The sector is expected to continue rising up the export list throughout 2026 with new supplies and international agreements.
