According to a statement by the Banks Association of Türkiye (TBB), the finance minister and finance Mehmet Şimşek took part in the traditional iftar evening dinner from TBB.
At the meeting in which Şimşek met with the TBB management, developments in the world and in the Turkish economy were evaluated.
Minister Şimşek explained that the medium -term program (MTP) increased the endurance of the economy in view of shocks and made it stronger. He said.
Şimşek found that the fluctuations that were considered temporarily in the markets were observed in coordination with all relevant institutions as well as measures and the measures to be taken, the program will continue with the determination.
In the emphasis that the banking sector contributes to the program, Şimşek emphasized that the sector is more robust and stronger thanks to the improvement of the macular breeze.

The chairman of the TBB of the Board of Directors Alpaslan Çakar said that the banking sector believes and supports the fact that Türkiye's balance sheet always has the priority of the sector and that they work in very close communication and coordination with economic management.
