İlhan pointed out that digital transformation and artificial intelligence affect almost all sectors and that digital transformation and artificial intelligence can be considered as separate sectors.
İlhan explained that as MYK they have established the Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence Advisory Board and with this body they want to define professions in the field of digital transformation: “We have about 40 professions in the field of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.” These professions vary between level 4 and levels 6-7. “There is no doubt that one needs to consider whether every computer engineering graduate is an expert in artificial intelligence or not. That’s why we defined the professions question,” he said.
Stating that they collaborated with relevant ministries, universities and non-governmental organizations in preparing the definitions, İlhan emphasized that their goal is to provide qualified and certified workers in all professions.
Standards for 20 professions in the area of digital transformation were identified
Explaining that artificial intelligence system analyst, artificial intelligence programmer, blockchain analyst, ethical hacker and robotic system operator are among the 20 professions for which they have established their standards in the field of digital transformation so far, İlhan said, “If we look at the professional norms , which we plan to complete this year, mobile software developer, games “We are talking about people like developers, data scientists, data architects and artificial intelligence researchers. If they pass the standard, these are also defined as professions.”
Pointing out that digital transformation and artificial intelligence systems are changing rapidly, İlhan said that the number of professions that will set standards in this area may increase according to the needs in this area.

Pointing out that there are discussions around the world that digital transformation and artificial intelligence will cause many people to become unemployed, İlhan made the following assessments:
“In our faith and our culture, people are at the forefront. On the contrary, we must pursue approaches that make people's work easier. When transformation occurs, we cannot say, “We will live the same way regardless.” “We want to make it easier for people to adapt to the changing and changing world with new skills. On the contrary, there is a concept called twin transformation. People who previously did other jobs and the demand for them is low will acquire new skills. “With this certification from the Vocational Qualifications Office, people receive documents in new professional fields and a guarantee of employment.”

When assessing the employment of people with professional qualifications, İlhan said: “We conducted an analysis last year. 79 percent of people with a vocational qualification are currently employed. That's 4 out of 5 people. “This makes a significant contribution to reducing unemployment in our country,” he said.
İlhan explained that the demand for professional qualification certificates is very high and that they want to develop professional standards in line with occupational health and safety regulations, environmental health, green transformation and a low carbon footprint.
Referring to “ethical hacking”, one of the professions whose standards are set, İlhan said: “Ethical hacking is a profession for which we prepare the standards according to the requirements from practice. An ethical hacker is an employee who has to fulfill his duties. “Honestly, he is not a bad employee, he is someone who recognizes them.” “He will act as an employee,” he shared.
