TRNC Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, TEKNOFEST Secretary General Muhammet Saymaz, Education Adviser of the Embassy of Nicosia of the Republic of Turkey Mithat Tekçam, teachers and students of primary, secondary and high schools attended the first session of the information meeting at the Nicosia Atatürk Cultural Center part of the TEKNOFEST TRNC.
With an informative talk about TEKNOFEST, Muhammet Saymaz drew attention to the festival's positive impact on young people and the opportunities it creates in the field of technology.
At the meeting, TRNC Minister of National Education Çavuşoğlu emphasized the importance of TEKNOFEST for TRNC and stated that they are ready to support schools and teams in every financial and moral sense. Çavuşoğlu stated that they are proud that Turkey and the Turkish nation have expanded their production capacities.
The second meeting, which took place in the afternoon, was attended by YÖDAK (Higher Education Planning, Supervision, Accreditation and Coordination Board), President Prof. Dr. Aykut Hodja, Head of the Higher Education Department of the TRNC Ministry of National Education, Behçet Çelebi, Education Adviser of the Embassy of Nicosia in the Republic of Turkey Mithat Tekçam and representatives of universities in TRNC took part. YÖDAK President Prof. Dr. spoke at the meeting. Aykut Hocanın expressed his satisfaction that TEKNOFEST will be held in TRNC and stated that they will play an active role in inter-university coordination.
