This year, the “Tourism Technologies Competition” organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism invites all students and graduates from Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to share their innovative ideas.
The aim of the competition is to contribute to the sustainable development of our country in the field of culture and tourism by combining our cultural heritage and tourism potential with intelligent information technologies.
Competition that combines cultural heritage with technology
While the competition offers participants the opportunity to design projects that make Türkiye and TRNC's cultural heritage more accessible, it also aims to generate innovative ideas that will accelerate digital transformation in the tourism sector.
This competition, which aims to promote the cultural wealth and tourism potential of Turkey and TRNC, supports projects that aim to add value to the culture and tourism sector at local and international levels with technology-oriented creative projects.
In the competition, which will be held in two main categories, winners at the senior level will receive 70,000 TL as first prize, 60,000 TL as second prize and 50,000 TL as third prize. At university level and above, first place winners win 80,000 TL, second place winners win 70,000 TL, and third place winners win 60,000 TL.
The application deadline for the competition, which brings together all young people who want to contribute to the digital transformation of the culture and tourism industry and tackle tourism projects of the future, ends on January 15th.
