Kismet chefs Sarah Hymanson and Sara Kramer sample a steakhouse side dish of creamed spinach and spinach dip. The two conjure up a sumptuous dip full of cheese, vegetables and cucumbers, which adds a spicy note thanks to its delicious creaminess. “Serve it as a side dish (with steak or anything else) or as an epic snack with chip dip,” write Hymanson and Kramer in their book “Kismet: Bright, Fresh, Vegetable-Loving Recipes.” It makes a great party dish or addition to any holiday or other special occasion dinner.
Note: You can make the spinach dip without panko topping a day or two in advance and store it in the refrigerator until ready to bake. Heat the bottom of the oven without panko until heated through.
Then add the topping and bake according to the recipe.
