TEKNOFEST Adana, whose communication stakeholder is TRT, will be held at Adana Airport under the main leadership of T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the participation of 128 institutions, including public institutions, technology giants, universities and media organizations.
In a statement at the event, Görgün explained that everyone between the ages of seven and seventy took part in the technology festival in Adana and continued as follows:
“The heat of Adana combined with the wind of TEKNOFEST. In other words: There is a perfect atmosphere outside with our competitors, participants, stakeholders and visitors. When TEKNOFEST 2018 was held for the first time, it started in 14 different areas and there were 20,000 participants in 50 different areas and 1 million 600 participants. “A dream became a festival attended by more than a thousand participants. It led to the creation of the world’s largest aviation and technology festival.”
The number of participants at TEKNOFEST increased 80-fold
Pointing out that the number of participants has increased about 80 times since the first competition, Görgün said: “There were competitors from more than 100 countries. The competition teams and students from home and abroad are increasing every year. We're contributing.” “We're trying to do our part,” he said.
Görgün emphasized that TEKNOFEST gives young people the opportunity to become part of technology according to their interests, saying: “We are entering our 7th year this year. We have organized 10 different TEKNOFESTs. Those who participated first are now continuing their professional activities.” “There are those who have started their own companies and are very large companies.” “There are those who receive investments,” he said.
Görgün explained that her goal is to pave the way for young people together with everyone involved, saying: “There is an incredible light in the faces and eyes. Hopefully we have more to do. As long as we have young people like that, I will. I think we can reach them all individually.
Görgün ended his words by explaining that they shaped the state of the Defense Industry Presidency this year with a different approach:
“On this occasion, I invite all visitors of TEKNOFEST to the stand of the Defense Industry Presidency. We wanted the stand to be interactive. We have created areas that can create an atmosphere in the application areas of the domestic and national products we have developed for.” We are interested in the next generation technologies by land, air and sea. “We have a section where blockchain technologies are explained visually.”
