According to the company's written statement, ULAK contributes to Turkey's communications technologies with domestic and national products for mobile and broadband communications systems used by commercial network operators.
ULAK focuses on 6G technologies and is increasing its patent applications in this area every day. As a result of its research and development studies, the company has so far registered 113 patents in the 6G area.
While 30 of these applications were made internationally under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), 7 were registered in the United States and 76 were registered as national patent applications.
In addition, 27 patents have been registered so far. One was approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and 26 by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
ULAK's research and development studies for 6G technology continue
ULAK's research and development team focuses on invention development studies in line with its academic background and current standardization studies.
The company continues its research and development studies on artificial intelligence, non-terrestrial networks, channel control mechanisms, multiple access techniques, non-cellular networks and radio access network (RAN) technologies for the development of 6G technology.
As a result of these studies, one of the company's goals is to develop patents that set the standards of 6G technology, so-called Standard Based Patents (SEP).
Thanks to collaboration with universities and academics, ULAK simultaneously carries out technology development and patenting processes. While ULAK's intellectual and industrial property rights team manages the patent portfolio, protects, markets and also conducts intellectual property rights studies.
