Land investments by billionaires working in technology in recent years are increasing day by day.

Among tech company owners, the businessman with the most land was Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.

Bezos ranks 25th on the list with 420,000 acres of land he owns.

Considering that the area of Istanbul is about 5,461 square kilometers (5.4 million acres), one understands that Bezos owns land in the US that is about 1/3 of Istanbul's area.

Gates is America's largest private farmland owner

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is number 41 on the list. Gates owns a total of 270,000 acres or 1 million 92,000 acres in the United States.

It appears that Gates' total land in the US is one-fifth the size of Istanbul.

According to information in the report, Gates is considered the largest private agricultural landowner in the country, with approximately 1 million acres of highly productive farmland spread across 17 states.

In a news article about Gates on The Land Report website, he was asked, “Why do you buy so much farmland?” What is notable is his answer to the question, “I only own 1 in 4,000 farmland in the United States. I am buying these agricultural lands to make them more productive and create more employment opportunities.”
