KANGAROO, the new security forces assistant

ASPİLSAN Energy, which develops solutions for cells, cells and batteries and their charging needs, contributes to reducing foreign dependence in the field of energy storage with its offered products.

The company received a utility model certificate for its recently developed KANGURU intelligent battery storage and charging cabin.

Ahmet Turan Özdemir, General Manager of ASPİLSAN Energy, said that after delivery, the radio batteries are generally stored in safes until the day of operation.

Özdemir pointed out that the electronic circuits in the radios have their own consumption, explaining that they can drain the batteries in the batteries after a while and that they need regular maintenance. Ozdemir said:

“Some of them can reach high temperatures under a tin roof, and some of them can reach very low temperatures in warehouses. They also have shelf waiting conditions. These conditions may not always be met in the field, and in most cases cannot be met. They also need to be charged at specific times and during specific periods. This requires planned maintenance and preservation. For products that you buy in bulk, if demand continues towards the end of the year and you made your delivery at the beginning of the year, some of the batteries may become unusable if not maintained.

From this cabin, which has intelligent maintenance algorithms and charging circuits, we can take batteries whose quality, charge and operation can be ensured when the operation button is pressed. There are slots in these cabinets where we can place different types of batteries. We can organize the shelves with these according to the person's needs. Whatever batteries we have and whatever type of radio we use, we place them in the cabin and keep them in an environment with air conditioning, heating and cooling. “We can monitor on the screen which batteries are on which shelves and their health status.”

Explaining that if necessary, it is possible to connect to the Internet and monitor and view the inventory remotely, Özdemir explained that the system also triggers an alarm in case of defective or discharged batteries.

Always ready for use when the latch is pressed

Emphasizing that the batteries in the cabin will not fail or run out because they are being serviced, Özdemir said:

“When I need them on site, I take healthy, charged and well-maintained batteries from this cab so that they make a sound when I press the latch. We have designed these cabins to offer batteries in areas with operational storage conditions.” Difficult and technical personnel are not available for maintenance. It is available to our security forces to meet their needs.” A work ready to be completed.

We produce both batteries and chargers and also care for the environment with this product. “KANGARUR is a ready-to-use product in the form of a cabin with air conditioning and chargers that preserves its batteries in outdoor conditions, with the same logic that KANGARU uses to keep its baby in its pouch.”

Ahmet Turan Özdemir emphasized that when a security guard goes to the operational area, he will ensure that the battery he takes from the shelf in the cabin is healthy, fully charged and reliable.

Explaining that the cabin is a solution to meet energy needs to keep the armed forces operational 24/7, Özdemir explained that the cabin is scalable and different types of batteries can be charged depending on the needs.

Özdemir stated that they created wall-mounted units in the form of shelves with only charging units because air conditioning is not required in environments such as the headquarters where there are no or limited external influences, and they provide uninterrupted power supply solutions to users such as cabins for difficult conditions and internal loading units for indoor environments.
