According to the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the congress will bring together global space leaders, astronauts, scientists and industry representatives in Antalya from October 5th to 9th.
The event, which will bring Türkiye's vision in space diplomacy and the National Space Program to the global stage, will be held at the Antalya Nest Congress Center under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and will be hosted by the Turkish Space Agency (TUA) and SAHA Istanbul.
The 77th IAC, which is expected to be attended by more than 10,000 people including experts, researchers, students and industry representatives, will provide a unique platform where new developments in the field of space research and technologies will be presented, academic presentations will be made, commercial collaborations will be established and Türkiye's space ecosystem will gain visibility on the international stage.
Record registration from 83 countries
In this context, there has been great interest from the global space ecosystem in the organization, which is expected to host more than 10,000 international visitors.
An all-time record was broken with more than 3,000 accurate registrations with the world's most prestigious space organization hosting Türkiye for the first time.
Applications for early registration came from 83 countries. Türkiye, the organization's host, took first place with 438 registrations, once again showing its strong interest in space studies. Türkiye was followed by Italy, the USA, Germany, Japan, China and the United Kingdom.
A record was also broken for abstract applications
Previously, the IAC 2026 broke a record for abstract applications with 8,330 applications from 108 countries.
Türkiye broke the double record by taking first place at the country level with 674 accepted entries.
