US President Trump made a statement on his Truth Social account about additional troops to Poland.
Trump emphasized that he maintains good relations with President Nawrocki in Poland, whom he also supports, and announced that, given these relations, he would send an additional 5,000 troops to that country.
US President Trump had stated in his previous statements that he was considering reducing the number of American soldiers in Poland and Germany.
U.S. Vice President JD Vance, who recently spoke on the issue, noted that they had not reduced the number of U.S. troops in Poland but had merely postponed troop transfers, saying, “We're not talking about withdrawing all American soldiers from Europe. We're talking about redistributing some resources in a way that maximizes American security.” he said.
