There are no tolls on bridges and highways during the holidays.

The presidential decree on this issue came into force upon publication in the duplicate edition of the Official Gazette.

According to the decision, the highways under the responsibility of KGM as well as the “July 15 Martyrs” and “Fatih Sultan Mehmet” bridges will be served free of charge due to the holiday.

These bridges and highways will be closed to traffic from Tuesday, May 26, 12:00 a.m. until Saturday, May 30.

Citizens will also benefit from the Başkentray, Marmaray, İZBAN, Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme railway lines, the Gayrettepe-İstanbul Airport-Arnavutköy metro line, as well as public transportation services provided by municipalities and their unions, institutions and companies for free from 00:00 on Wednesday, May 27, until the end of the day, Saturday, May 30.

In contrast, Build-Operate-Transfer projects were excluded from the free transition application.
