Turkey has passed another strategic threshold in cybersecurity and entered a new era with local and national solutions to protect critical infrastructure.
Türkiye's first Endpoint Security Platform (AV-EDR) solution, developed by C-Prot under the coordination of the Defense Industry Presidency (SSB) and implemented in collaboration with HAVELSAN, was handed over to the Ministry of Defense at the ceremony held within SAHA 2026.
According to C-Prot, this development is a concrete result of Türkiye's goals to reduce foreign dependence in the field of cybersecurity, protect its critical systems with indigenous technologies and strengthen its digital sovereignty.
The platform sets a new standard in endpoint security with its integrated architecture that consolidates next generation antivirus and endpoint detection and response (EDR) capabilities under a single agent. Thanks to this approach, institutions eliminate fragmented security structures and obtain a simpler, faster and more effective security infrastructure.
The platform provides comprehensive endpoint visibility with extensive telemetry collection and advanced threat detection capabilities, enabling early detection of potential threats and rapid response. In addition, the solution is designed to be fully compatible with local and national operating systems, in particular Pardus, and to provide a high level of integration and operational continuity, especially in public facilities and critical infrastructures.
Only a few countries have done this
Endpoint security and EDR technologies are among the systems that are extremely complex to develop and require a high level of engineering, threat intelligence, and continuous data processing capability. There are only a very limited number of countries that can develop solutions in this area. Countries such as the USA, Israel, Russia and China, as well as Japan and France are among the players that can develop this technology.
The fact that Türkiye has developed a domestic solution in this area is seen as an important win in the transition to the limited technology league. This platform developed by C-Prot is a crucial step that makes Türkiye one of the countries that not only uses these technologies, but also develops them and has the ability to export them.
Critical level for defense and cyber sovereignty
The delivery is in direct line with the vision set out at the Cyber Security Board meeting on May 5th. In this context, it was emphasized that cybersecurity is an integral part of national security and the protection of critical infrastructure, data sovereignty and the development of indigenous technologies were among the priority areas.
While the use of domestic cybersecurity solutions in national defense is a strategic necessity, the developed AV-EDR platform is positioned as a crucial layer that strengthens Türkiye's cyber sovereignty.
The developed AV-EDR platform is expected to be widely deployed in defense industry, energy, finance, public services and other critical infrastructure sectors in the coming period.
This delivery is considered an important milestone that strengthens Türkiye's national and national cybersecurity capacity, strengthens its digital sovereignty and strengthens its position in global competition.
