According to the Ministry of Justice statement, Minister Akın Gürlek received Anatolian Lions Businessmen Association (ASKON) Chairman Orhan Aydın and his accompanying delegation.
In his speech at the reception at the ministry, Gürlek stated that he was pleased to welcome the ASKON delegation and explained that the 12th Justice Package would also contain regulations for the business community.
Gürlek emphasized that they want to further improve the legal trust environment for the business community that contributes to the state through investments and job creation, saying:
“We will provide as much legal assistance as possible to companies that invest and contribute to the state and its regions by creating jobs. Commercial and business cases that the business community deals with directly take a lot of time. We will take measures in the 12th Justice Package to solve the problems in the system. Our goal is to ensure legal certainty, and with legal certainty, investors can invest and create jobs in the region.”
Pointing out that the crises due to conflicts in the region can be turned into an opportunity for Turkey, Minister Gürlek said: “The investor wants to come to Türkiye and invest, but of course he has problems in his mind. We will help as much as possible in terms of legal certainty. When the investor comes, he thinks: 'Can I deal with this case in the future? If I file this case in this commercial court, will it take longer?' There shouldn't be any questions. We also receive information from practice on these topics. “We also have provisions for arbitration.” he said.
