According to the official Kuwaiti news agency KUNA, Civil Aviation Authority spokesman Abdullah er-Racihi said in his statement that a fire broke out after a fuel tank at Kuwait International Airport was attacked by a UAV.
Racihi noted that the attack was carried out by Iran and armed groups that support Iran.
Racihi said that according to the initial findings, there were no fatalities and no damage, pointing out that the authorities immediately initiated emergency measures and the fire department and relevant units continued to respond to the fire.
