The 2025 performance program of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has defined the outlines of the cybersecurity activities to be carried out.
Next year's strategic studies, designed in the light of the objectives of the Strategic Plan 2024-2028, envisage ensuring the security of all types of services, transactions and data in the fields of electronic communications and information technologies, as well as the systems involved in their presentation.
In this context, the activities for intelligent transport systems are continuously continued to establish, set up, operate and operate data management centers with the aim of ensuring the use and evaluation of the data generated in the context of intelligent transport systems by public institutions and organizations, municipalities, special provincial administrations, natural and legal persons, and to define the application procedures and principles related to these tasks.
Under the national architecture of intelligent transport systems, the number of service packages added or updated is expected to reach 20 by the end of the year.
National instruments are being developed for cyber interventions
In addition, procedures and principles have been established for establishing policies, strategies and objectives to ensure national cybersecurity, as well as to ensure cybersecurity for public institutions and organizations, as well as natural and legal persons.
The aim is to develop all types of cyber intervention tools and national solutions to draw up action plans, ensure the coordination of relevant activities, identify critical infrastructures and the institutions and sites to which they belong, set up the necessary intervention centers, have them set up and ensure their inspection.
Activities to raise cybersecurity awareness, conduct training and awareness-raising activities, and prepare the procedures and principles to be followed by natural and legal persons operating in the field of cybersecurity will continue.
In this regard, it is planned to organize 11 national and international cybersecurity exercises by the end of the year, and 12 exercises are planned next year. In 2028 the number of exercises should be 13.
