Central bank reserves continue to break records

CBRT announced weekly money and banking statistics.

Accordingly, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by $1 billion,797 million to $84 billion,405 million as of January 30. Gross foreign exchange reserves as of January 23 amounted to the level of 86 billion 202 million dollars.

During this period, gold reserves increased by 4 billion 341 million dollars, reaching 133 billion 753 million dollars from 129 billion 412 million dollars.

Thus, in the week of January 30, the Central Bank's total reserves increased from $215 billion,614 million to $218 billion,158 million, an increase of $2 billion,544 million compared to the previous week.
