While the BIST 100 index increased by 53.88 points compared to the previous close, the total transaction volume was 174.3 billion lira.
The banking index lost 0.34 percent and the holding index lost 0.63 percent.
Among the sector indices, Securities Investment Trust recorded the highest gain of 2.86 percent, while construction recorded the largest loss of 1.18 percent.

Domestically, the BIST 100 index broke the record with 12,378.76 points during the day and ended the day at a record level, continuing its 9-day positive trend.
