Risk appetite remains low in global markets as the U.S. labor market shows signs of slowing and concerns remain about “high valuations” of tech companies.

On the other hand, the 4th Inflation Report Information Meeting of the Year organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) will be held in the country today. At the 3rd inflation reporting session of the year, the CBRT forecast that inflation would be between 25 and 29 percent at the end of 2025 and fall between 13 and 19 percent by the end of 2026.

Analysts noted that today, in addition to the CBRT inflation report, the state treasury balance is also being tracked at home, while abroad the foreign trade balance in Germany and the University of Michigan consumer confidence index in the United States are being tracked.

Analysts stated that there will be no data flow from official institutions today due to the federal government shutdown in the US, noting that 11,100 and 11,200 points in the BIST 100 index technically represent resistance, while 11,000 and 10,900 points represent support.
